I, James Parker, of the township of Perth Amboy in the County of Middlesex, do hereby certify that a Male Negro Child named Joseph was born of a Negro Woman named Nanny (a slave belonging to me) on the Sixteenth day of January one thousand eight hundred and eight.
Witness my hand this eighteenth day of August, 1808.
