Description
Draft registration card for Englehardt Henriksen. The local draft board registrar misidentified Englehardt Henriksen's race and checked off "White" in the race column. This registration card was filled out in April 1942, while Englehardt's daughter Veronica Henriksen was completing her sophomore year at the New Jersey College for Women (now Douglass). Veronica Henriksen is the third known black woman to enroll at NJC.
