My dear Mr White:
The news papers no doubt have informed you that we did not succeed in getting Governor Silzer to withhold his grant to extradite Parmore to Iron City Ga. The Governor gave his permission, and of course our case now comes up in the Court of Chancery at Newark on Jan 2, 24
We have an excellent young man handling the case, but it occurs to our Board that he ought to have an associate of the Home office designation, your advice in the matter will help us materially. Mr. Kaltiesen wrote you by today mail at my request, and will tell you in detail how far we have gone. Parmore and his son are both in jail here and they both deny emphatically that they are in no way responsible for the death of Jeff Williams the man killed. I have written Mr Johnson by this asking him to attend and speak at our mass meeting here Sunday night 930.
Take it up with him and urge him to come
