Professional headshot of Harry Hazelwood Jr. (RC 1943). A stamp on the back of the photograph indicates that it was taken by Trevor Teele at 306 N. Aurora St., Ithaca, New York. Hazelwood likely sat for this photo while he was attending Cornell Law School in Ithaca between 1943 and 1945. A number of notations on the back indicate that this publicity photo was reproduced multiple times throughout the years. For example, this photograph was printed in the Rutgers Alumni Monthly in March 1948 with the caption: "HARRY HAZELWOOD, JR. '43, president of Newark branch of the National Association for the Advancement of Colored People." A clipping from the alumni magazine has been preserved along with the original photograph in Hazelwood's alumni biographical file.
