I John Neilson of the city of New Brunswick in the township of North Brunswick in the county of Middlesex State of New Jersey, certify that a female negro child called Clara was born of my slave Ambo at the place aforesaid on the 14 day of September in the year of our Lord eighteen hundred twelve. - Witness my hand at New Brunswick aforesd.
