I Michael Garrish of the township of Piscataway in the County of Middlesex, New Jersey, shopkeeper, certify that Martha a female negro child was born of my slave Susan at the place aforesaid, on the twenty seventh day of December, Eighteen hundred & five. -
Witness my hand this fourth day of February, Eighteen hundred & six. -
