Description
A master in the New Brunswick area seeks to sell 4 years of labor of a young black woman. The woman is 20 years old and has 4 years left to serve on her indenture. The seller is not named in the ad, and the prospective buyers are asked to apply for more information to the printer of the local newspaper Guardian, or, New Brunswick Advertiser. This newspaper was published by Abraham Blauvelt (Queen's College graduate, class of 1789, and long-time college trustee) who regularly facilitated transactions for his subscribers.
