Description

On November 30, 1809, Abraham Blauvelt recorded a payment of $39.88 to Jacob Dunham for "his negro's" services. This payment was for "masonry" work.

This is entry number 130 on page 6 of Blauvelt's account book. Blauvelt was the chairman of the Building Committee and recorded the expenses paid for the construction of the college's first permanent building, now known as Old Queens Building.
